Antrim County Michigan with free resources, specifically concentrating on the opioid epidemic.
Our vision is to offer free Narcan/Naloxone, emergency overdose contact information and public education within the county.

-- Dr. Scott Hadland, chief of adolescent and young adult medicine at MassGeneral Hospital for Children, emphasizing that the drug Narcan could save lives if it were more readily available to people in their homes. Narcan is used to reverse opioid overdoses and works by blocking the effects of opiates on the brain, thereby helping to restore breathing. On Wednesday, February 15, 2023 two FDA advisory committees voted unanimously in favor of making a nasal spray version of Narcan available over-the-counter so more people could have access.
